Hello! My name is Alissa Dedic. I am the owner of Elk Creek Content LLC where I am a freelance nonfiction book editor and content writer. I specialize in nonfiction and content writing. I have 16 years combined academic, volunteer and professional experience in editing and writing. I have a BA in English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Recently I have completed two editing certificates through the American Copyeditors Society (ACES) and the Poynter Institute and one editing class through the American Writers and Artists Institute (AWAI). I’m a member of ACES and AWAI. I have also been a member of Compel Writing Training. I live in Wyoming with my husband, my two kids and my dog. When I’m not editing or writing, I’m enjoy baking, reading, knitting, crocheting, hiking, camping and playing games with my family.
